Attached are two paintings of soldiers in the Schlesisches Pionier Battalion Nr. 6, one from 1830 and one from 1870. In the background one can see the Prussian fort in the 1830, and the skyline of Neiße in the 1870. Feel free to note anything else interesting I may have missed.

The images are from the book "Geschichte des Schlesischen Pionier-Battailons Nr. 6" by Schröter, a generalleutnant in the unit, which is available freely online. I will of course have to translate the book and find all of its secrets. Lovely day!

Two pictures on a shooting range, both labelled "Neisse Schießstand", although I don't know which range these were taken at. Any information would be appreciated.

Note: They are testing captured Mosin-Nagant rifles.
